Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackOh Gosh! I just wanted to discuss the celebration dinner cruise that I went on this past spring. I was with my 2 kids (boyfriend and child) and we were sitting home on a weeknight wondering what we can do on the weekend that’s “different.” Well, we spent just over 300 USD for 3 people (including what we put in tips) and for what we received, it was well worth it. IThe meal was really amazing and they spaced it out perfectly to coincide with the time of the cruise (about 3 hours or so). It started out with chopped salad. They also had a carving station where they served roast beef (which was salty!) and the ham (which was pleasant…sweet and tangy). Within an hour (as we were passing ESB), we were being served our main course. I got the jambalaya which the other 2 “characters” got the stuffed chicken. I liked how they put little potatoes on the side: My daughter really loved them (yes, I gave her mine except for the 1st one which I ate). The desert selection was really good. Surprisingly, we got each of the 3 that they offered that night and shared a bit with each other. The cruise itself was relaxing. We all looked out the side as I was having some tea.
I don’t know about the other cruises, but I can say with certainty that the celebration dinner cruise is fantastic. I hope any of you who are looking for a good night out with the family can enjoy. Believe me: It was a wonderful night!
